THE TIE
VP of Data Science

Erik Saberski, VP of Data Science at The Tie, has been working with crypto data since 2016. As a double major in math and physics at Bates College, Erik wrote his undergraduate Physics thesis on constructing algorithms for predicting Bitcoin price. Since then, Erik has worked as a data scientist at Steemit, XYO Network, and now The Tie. He is also pursuing a PhD at UC San Diego where he has continued building predictive algorithms for complex, chaotic systems ranging from finance to biology. His thesis work is largely focused on identifying relationships between variables that may not be easily detectable, and harnessing this information to improve predictive models. At The Tie, Erik and his team focus on finding such patterns in crypto data, with the main goal of identifying which variables are important to consider in the crypto space, and how to best utilize them.
