Head of Emerging Technology Research

Jon joined Vanguard in 2018, spending time on strategy, marketing, and investment product teams before serving as a Chief of Staff and then ultimately moving into Vanguard’s Chief Technology Office. Presently, as Head of Emerging Technology Research, he leads a function that helps Vanguard businesses understand, experiment with, and ultimately capitalize on these technologies to deliver better outcomes for clients. Before joining Vanguard, Jon received his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, where he majored in finance, and was a founding member of the school’s fintech organization. Prior to Kellogg, Jon was an educator for ten years at Xavier High School in New York City, serving as both a high school teacher and school administrator.
