Paul is the Founder & CIO at Room40 Capital, a crypto focused liquid hedge fund. 

Prior to Room40, Paul was a macro portfolio manager at Moore Capital, which he joined in 2008 with the team he had assembled at Greenwich Capital Markets. Paul’s discretionary macro strategy focused on directional investments in liquid market securities, with an emphasis on global interest rates, currencies, and equity indexes. He introduced the firm’s principals to Bitcoin in 2013. Prior to joining Moore, Paul was a Senior Managing Director and member of the RBS Greenwich Capital executive committee. He spent 15 years there, holding various positions during that tenure. From 2004 to 2008 he founded and managed the Global Macro Proprietary trading group. Before that, he traded various sectors and headed the U.S. Government trading desk. Paul worked in London from 1992-1995 where he traded G-7 sovereign bond markets and helped open the Greenwich Capital London office. Prior to Greenwich Capital, Paul spent three years as a proprietary trader at Barclays de Zoete Wedd securities. His career began in 1986 at Brown Brothers Harriman where, after completing a six-month training program, he spent four years as an Investment Officer managing institutional bond portfolios. Mr. Yablon holds a B.A. from Trinity College where he graduated with honors.
